WEEKLY SPOKEN WORD COMES TO PERTH

Perth's first weekly spoken word event, the Perth Poetry Club, happens on Saturday 28 March and every Saturday thereafter, from 2-4pm, downstairs in The Court Hotel and restaurant, 50 Beaufort Street, Perth.

There will be lots of short open stage segments - bring your poem - and featured guests every week. The MCs will be Janet Jackson and Helen Child.

On the 28 March, the Club features well known and well travelled local poet Andrew Burke.

On 4 April the Club is privileged to present the rockin' thesaurus himself, allan boyd the Antipoet and on the 11 April, Perth's unique cellist poet, Kevin Gillam.

Entry is free but donations will be encouraged. We hope to be able to pay our guest poets.

The Court is opposite themuseum, just along from the train station.
