The last Poet's Corner for 2006 is on Saturday 16th December @ 2pm!
The invited guest readers are
Helen Hagemann: (Pictured above) Helen's poetry explores the sensual world of place, identity, and being female. Many of her poems are varied in voice and lyrical style that seek to liberate the complexity of self and others. Indian Ocean Books 2001
Sarah French: Sarah French's first collection of poetry has been accepted by Five Islands Press New Poets Series. She has been the recipient of numerous residencies and scholarships in WA and interstate.
We begin the readings at 2pm, take a short break at about 3pm, and finish at 4pm. All Open Mic readers are welcome during the afternoon!
Open Mic'ers: Please bring 5 - 10 min of poems
A 50 word biography/introduction
No swearing or politically incorrect
poems or attitudes.
